70's Celebration Party
6th March 2009 - Monte del Re (Dozza Imolese)
“One of our most successful events” – was the enthusiastic comment of the designer Carlo Chionna, who, yet again, took off his businessman’s shoes and put on his night time, fluorescent DJ gear. The setting was the beautiful backdrop of the former religious site of Monte del Re in Dozza Imolese. Almost one thousand guests ran riot (after an exclusive dinner for a select few) on Friday 6th March, to the notes played by the eccentric Carlo and his partner in crime, Paolino. The dancing began with a performance by a group of drag queens, straight from the elegant city of Turin, arousing the curiosity and entertaining the crowds. The evening was a tribute to the magical ‘70s, resounding along the walls of the deconsecrated church and paving the way for the house and commercial rhythms of recent years. As well as the beautiful women and eternal friends of the Chionna world, there were also characters from the world of entertainment such as the conductor Fio Zanotti, the comedian Paolo Cevoli and the ex-goalkeeper of the Italian team Gianluca Pagliuca.
