Sweet 70's

19th February 2009 - Le Scimmie (Faenza)

The winning partnership between Carlo Chionna and Le Scimmie in Faenza is now in its second year. Over the winter months the cheerful riff-raff guided by Captain Chionna disembarked in Romagna invading the famous Faenza nightclub with music and cheer.
9.2 designer Thursdays have become a compulsory rendezvous for lovers of nightlife and fun. The real climax came about on 19th February, when dancing was unleashed with a wild and crazy carnival event. The theme of the party was a tribute to the glorious ‘70s, with an escalation of colours and costumes à la Saturday night fever. The discs, remixed by Carlo Chionna in his “DJ shoes” and his partner in crime Paolino, got the crowds twisting and twirling around the dance floor, among a soft cloud of thousands of rainbow balls. It was difficult to resist the fantastic music and fashion combination yet again!
